VILLANOVA MONFERRATO

Villanova Monferrato is an Italian town of 1,907 inhabitants in the province of Alessandria, in Piedmont. It is the largest municipality in the north of the province of Alessandria and is located very close to Vercelli and the border with Lombardy. Exactly it is located 17 km from Vercelli, 7 km from Casale Monferrato, 40 km from Alexandria and 70 km from Pavia.

Retains the parish church of the nineteenth century Sant'Emiliano and the Oratory of St. Michael's Brotherhood, now "Auditorium" and the Town Hall hosts a painting by Pier Francesco Guala Madonna with child and blesses Sant'Emiliano and San Bernardino.
